Analyses under the Regulation on Environmental Management of Fish Farms Operating in the Seas are required by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.<\/p>\n<p>Within the scope of monitoring fish farms, fish farms are obliged to carry out measurements and analyzes and report the results of the analysis within the framework of the procedures and principles set out in the Regulation. In order to determine the effects of fish farms on the marine environment in detail and to monitor the change over time, it is necessary to carry out annual monitoring studies in the water column and sediment within the parameters specified in Annex-6 of the Regulation and submit them to the relevant Provincial Directorate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"w-image align_none\"><div class=\"w-image-h\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1366\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aem.com.tr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/balik-ciftlikleri-analizi-2.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"Bal\u0131k \u00c7iftlikleri Analizi\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.aem.com.tr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/balik-ciftlikleri-analizi-2.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.aem.com.tr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/balik-ciftlikleri-analizi-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.aem.com.tr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/balik-ciftlikleri-analizi-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column us_custom_432d3f53\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>Fish farms shall have the water column monitoring studies specified in Annex-6 of the Regulation carried out in May every year and sediment monitoring studies carried out in May every two years. Newly established fish farms are obliged to have all measurements and studies specified in Annex-6 carried out in May before starting operations. The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change may change the number and location of sampling points and the parameters to be analyzed if deemed necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Fish farm samples are taken from a total of 7 different points, 50 m from the four sides of the farm, 100 m and 200 m downstream, and at least 500 m upstream as a reference. Water column samples are taken from two different depths, surface and bottom, and fish farm analysis is performed separately.<\/p>\n<p>The reports of the laboratories authorized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change are valid for fish farm analysis.
