Periodic control is the inspection, test and test activities that must be carried out in workplaces and workshops within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment.
Periodic control inspections, tests and tests should be renewed before the installation of the equipment, before its first use, when it is relocated and exposed to effects that may cause malfunction or at the minimum periods specified in the regulation.
Periodic controls are carried out under three headings. Periodic controls are grouped as pressure vessels and installations, lifting and conveying equipment and installations.
Pressure vessels: steam boiler, heating boiler, portable gas cylinders, gas tanks…
Lifting and conveying equipment: Cranes, escalators, freight elevators, forklifts, lifts…
Installations: electrical installations, grounding installations, lightning rods, transformers, fire installations, ventilation installations…
