Occupational hygiene measurement is a laboratory study called work environment measurement or occupational health and safety measurement. It is a test, measurement and analysis service performed in the form of point or personal exposure in workplace areas.
During the risk analysis, in line with the request of the occupational safety specialist and workplace physician, the occupational hygiene tests, measurements and analyzes required to be carried out in the enterprise are determined. After the risk analysis, it is determined at how many points, how many people and which measurement parameters will be performed with the discovery made at the workplace. Exploration and determination can be carried out by the occupational safety specialist and workplace physician, as well as by laboratories authorized in the field of occupational hygiene. The Presidency of the Occupational Health and Safety Research and Development Institute (İSGÜM) requires authorized laboratory discovery to determine the need for occupational hygiene measurement, testing and analysis.
