OHS laboratory is the name given to laboratories authorized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and accredited by TÜRKAK within the scope of TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Authorization is made within the scope of the Regulation on Occupational Hygiene Measurement, Testing and Analysis Laboratories.
In the working environment, there are measurement, testing, observation and analysis procedures for occupational health and safety of employees. OHS laboratories examine the effects on employees under the title of occupational hygiene. In addition to employees; controls are also carried out on machinery and equipment, installations in the environment. Periodic control or inspection organizations of work equipment can also be considered as OHS laboratories. They carry out their activities within the scope of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment.
With occupational hygiene, the effects of dust, noise, vibration, organic and inorganic pollutants and physical factors on employees are examined. With the periodic control of work equipment, problems that may occur in the use of machinery and equipment are observed. Thanks to the services provided by the OHS laboratory, the measures to be taken by OHS experts are revealed and it is aimed to ensure a sustainable working environment together with the workplace physician.
AEM Laboratory is an OHS laboratory that provides sampling, measurement and analysis services under the headings of occupational hygiene, periodic control, drinking and potable water, asbestos in the working environment.
