Air quality modeling is carried out before the air quality measurement required within the scope of EIA or in the environmental permit process. Modeling is performed based on area and point sources.
Within the scope of the Regulation on the Control of Industrial Air Pollution, air quality dispersion modeling should be carried out prior to air quality measurement in facilities where open masonry materials are stored or prior to air quality measurements to be made when there is a mass flow exceedance caused by the stack.
For air quality modeling, meteorological and topographical data and software such as ISCST3, AERMOD are used.
