Biota analysis is included in the legislation within the scope of the Regulation on Control of Pollution Caused by Hazardous Substances in Water and the Environment, and biological transport of pollution is observed by analyzing plant and animal residues. The Regulation aims to prevent the increase in the rate of pollution in biota and other environmental components (soil, air, etc.).
Monitoring and control of the quality criteria for hazardous substances in the biota in Annex-1 and Annex-2 of the Regulation on the Control of Pollution Caused by Hazardous Substances in Water and Environment are carried out within the scope of the provisions of this Regulation and the results are regularly reported to the Ministry every year.
