Waste Water Analysis

Wastewater analysis is one of the important topics of environmental legislation and these analyzes are required under multiple regulations and communiqués. In general, samples taken from the inlet and outlet of domestic and urban or industrial treatment plants are reported as a result of wastewater analysis studies carried out in the field and laboratory.

Atık Su Analizi

Waste water analysis is carried out during the environmental permit phase and for control purposes. The predominantly used regulation is the Water Pollution Control Regulation. In line with the discharge flow rate of the treatment plant, the annual analysis period is determined. The frequency of sampling under this regulation is shown in Table.1 in the Communiqué on Sampling and Analysis Methods of Water Pollution Control Regulation. The parameters required for wastewater analysis are specified separately by sector in the annexes of the regulation.

Within the scope of environmental legislation, the reports of laboratories authorized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change regarding wastewater analysis are valid. Launched in 2019, MELBES collects environmental permit and internal monitoring wastewater analysis requests. Internal monitoring wastewater analysis applications are made through MELBES twice a year in January-June and July-December periods. In general, requests are created in June and December. MELBES assigns the received requests to authorized laboratories. AEM Laboratory can be contacted for out-of-scope, control, and Turkak wastewater analyzes. If wastewater analysis is to be performed within the scope of environmental legislation, an application should be made to MELBES.

AEM Laboratory is an institution authorized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and accredited by Türkak for wastewater analysis with its expert staff, technical facilities and quality service.
